Anti-bullying Guidelines

At Gilles Street Primary School we take bullying very seriously.

Our guidelines assist our community to identify what bullying is, how we intervene and the follow up processes that support the victim, bully and bystanders.

  • If you are bullied or you know of someone who is being bullied, please report it.
  • Tell your teacher, student counsellor, principal, deputy principal, assistant principal, your parents or a trusted adult.
  • Report the bullying to a trusted adult as soon as it happens.
  • DO NOT ignore it or it may get worse.
  • Be brave.
  • Bullying can be stopped.
  • Bullying is not tolerated at Gilles Street Primary School.
