Student Wellbeing

"The wellbeing of children is a large part of our moral purpose in the education of children"

A whole school approach provides a healthy and positive environment for students, families and staff.

We currently use the 4 core components of the Kids Matter framework to guide our work in this area; Positive school community, social and emotional learning for students, working with parents and caregivers and helping children with mental health difficulties.

In developing a positive School community we established the Circle of Friends network for IELC parents/caregivers, reviewed our anti-bullying, cyber safety and attendance policies and explored ways we can engage with our communities in positive ways.
